Cave house in Arico, a special and unique experience

This peculiar cave dwelling is located in Icor, one of the many towns of Arico.
A cave house is absolutely special, different, magical, and very natural.
An authentic cave where the former residents of the Canary Islands (the Guanches) lived, but of course with all modern comforts, hot water, electricity, gas, ......
The right place to relax, a perfect place for many different mountain sports such as hiking, climbing, cycling ....

This cave dwelling offers views of the mountains. The altitude, about 600 m above sea level, we have pleasant temperatures in the night even in hot summer.
The apartment is located in Icor, in the southwest of Tenerife, and is only 25 minutes from Tenerife South Airport.
Nearby there is a small grocery store, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, medical service (Centro Salud) as well as bars and restaurants with local cuisine are about 7km.
Arico is the starting point of many easy to challenging circular hiking trails.
There is a climbing school on site, offering lessons and guided tours. Experienced climbers can always independently under the apartment and in the vicinity climbing tours, in developed climbing areas, undertake.
On the closer beaches like Las Eras (10 minutes *) there is a diving school and some cafes, in El Medano (25 minutes *) many water sports are offered.
Los Christianos (35 minutes *) is home to Siam Park, Aqua Land and Jungle Park.
The famous Loro Park is located in Puerto del la Cruz (about 50 minutes *)
In the capital Santa Cruz is the dreamlike "Playa de las Teresitas" with Sahara sand.
There is also a paragliding school nearby.
